Saint Gerard Majella Restoration

Saint Gerard Majella is the patron saint of mothers, children and childbirth. He was a redemptorist lay brother and suffered from ill health most of his life, dying of tuberculosis at the age of 30. His feast day is October 16.

This large statue of Saint Gerard was delivered for restoration in February 2006. Here are the 'before' and 'after' photos:
